You can call me Maku, I am the artist behind makugwapu! I’m a digital illustrator and character design artist from the Philippines, and this space is where my imagination comes to life. My work reflects both personal creative expression and professional craft, and I love sharing the process with you here on Instagram.

I explore characters, emotions, and stories inspired by everyday moments, inner worlds, famous shows and playful creativity. I love creating expressive illustrations with bold personalities, vibrant moods, and details that feel alive.
